North West July 2008 Campaign
About 6347 students and teachers decided for Jesus this week in 13 School Campaigns in North West Province, South Africa

About 107 956 students and teachers reached in 212 school Campaigns from April to till today

REVIVAL IN RUSTENBURG

Thousands of students and teachers have decided for Jesus this week in the city of Rustenburg. What has happened this week has shaken and amazed me.

What I now share with you is what followed my main service whereby the message of salvation has been preached and received. I spent up to 5 hours at some schools laying hands on the students by the hundreds. The power and presence of the Lord was so powerful that I had hundreds of them falling under the power of the Lord as I laid hands on them in rows of two dozen or so at a time.

Some I gently touched, while some fell out as I just came close to them. Some were crying, some shaking and some lay motionless for up to an hour at a time, under the power of the Holy Spirit. These were students that had just received Jesus. They were totally unaware of what was happening to them. All that they did know was that His presence was powerful and wonderful. Some asked for repeated prayer, as they enjoyed been touched by the Lord.

As you can imagine, it caused a major stir at the schools. Hundreds stood by is amazement, yet soon joined the prayer lines as I ministered how the Lord wanted to do a miracle for their lives. This happened at both African and white schools this week.

Young girls shared with me how they had been raped and molested. Boys also shared heart wrenching stories. As I prayed for them all, the Lord touched them and they fell under His power and awoke renewed.

One beautiful blond thirteen year old girl shared with me how she was raped at 6 years of age. One blond hair blued eyed boy shared how his sister of 6 was raped by his uncle, since the age of 1 and that when being found out last week-hung himself. We also visited one young girl from Silverkraans township whose only parent is her mother, who has Aids and is mentally abnormal.

There are really to many stories to tell, yet the Lord knows them all and I am sure He will now help them, seeing that they received Him and Jesus into their lives.

These kids needed Jesus and I am so grateful that we were able to lead them to Him.

CHURCH FOLLOW-UP

We have networked with 56 churches in the region. They have been given the spiritual responsibility of visiting and adopting the schools in their area for adoption and follow up purposes.

Each student at each school, as well as each person at the mass Mogwase event, was given a Book of Hope-discipleship magazine , as well as a information brochure with the list of 56 participating churches, including my 9pm TBN program.

July and August: North West Province School Campaign s (about 80 schools remaining)
September to December and 2009 : The Greater Cape Town Campaign

GREATER CAPE TOWN CAMPAIGN

Our team moves to Cape Town on Monday 11 August for 3 weeks of preparation for our Cape Town Campaign. We will be reaching 600 to 700 schools, September, October and November of this year. The Campaign will continue again in January 2009.

Our Launch meeting was attended by about 90 churches and organizations about 2 weeks ago. We are still in the process of planning which areas we will reach first in Cape Town.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO HELP US REACH THESE STUDENTS

As this is the end of July and the beginning of August, I humbly ask you to please help us continue to reach these children here in Rustenburg and the North West. We have had 3 teams going out, preaching the gospel. This is a team effort. I ask you to please join our team and be apart of changing the lives of these young students.

We need to invest in our youth, if we want to reap the rewards of righteousness in South Africa in the present and future South Africa.

We have 2 needs to speak of at the moment that you may get involved with.

Firstly is our monthly campaign needs and the other is the following

Need of updated ministry vehicles for 3 school teams

Secondly, we are in real need of two or three 4 by 4 or 4 by 2 vehicles. Our cars travel about 3000 to 4000 km each per month, on average. The three have collectively done 706 317 km.

With this serious mileage, we are occasionally encountering hassles. It's tough when we sometimes are in very rural and mountainous areas to focus as our transport concerns us. With our upcoming trip to Cape Town, we would greatly appreciate any help and assistance in this regard.
