North West Campaign Report to date: About 93 215 students , teachers and citizens decided for Jesus in our Mass Crusade and 184 School Campaigns in North West Province, South Africa
We have just completed phase one of our Campaign. My heart is rejoicing and leaping for joy over all the precious people that have responded to the call of salvation.
There is only one Savior between heaven and earth and His name is Jesus. The whole world deserves to hear about Him. I have dedicated my life to this cause. I think, dream, desire and plan to lead as many souls to Jesus as is possible. I have also realised that this process can be multiplied if I have a team of evangelists around me doing likewise.
These school campaigns were made possible by my associate evangelists and I reaching out daily into the surrounding region, reaching out to the schools. We have been travelling as far as 70km one way to reach some of these remote schools. It was a huge effort to do so, yet in light of what Jesus did for us, it was a joy and necesary responsibility.
This has been one of our longest campaigns to date, in that we started in April and will finish by August. We have soaked the region with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We have reached the areas of Rustenburg, Mogwase, Ledig, Chaneng, Boitekong, Mabaskraal and many others.
4 WHITE SCHOOLS BEEN REACHED
We have reached out to 4 predominantly white schools of Rustenburg (with about 10 left). The response was absolutely over whelming. I would say that about 95% of all the students made decisions to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. On each new Campaign, we will also now endevor to reach the typical white suburban schools with the gospel.
It was awesome to see these students respond to Dumisani's Zulu gospel singing and dancing. They did'nt quite know the words, yet tried to keep up. I was smiling all the way at this sight.
I had many children open up here to the hurts and abuses that they have been through. I thank the Lord that He used us to share about His love to these needy children.
180 TOWNSHIP SCHOOLS REACHED
180 of the 184 schools that we campaigned in were in the rural townships of the North West. These children were so open to Jesus. When we shared the truths about the person of Jesus, He simply becomes irresistable to people. Its like He reaches deep down in their souls and touches them in a loving and gentle way.
Over 10000 students weekly were receiving Jesus in our 9 week campaign. As an evangelist and as a Christian, I can tell you that this is heaven on earth.
I had girls come up to me almost daily in the schools, sharing how they have been raped and molested. I prayed for each one and Jesus began to heal their broken hearts and restore them.
The greatest gift that we could give them was to lead them all to the Savior.
CHURCH FOLLOW-UP
We have networked and communicated with all 56 churches on a weekly basis and periodic basis. They have been given the spiritual responsibility of visiting and adopting the schools in their area for adoption and follow up purposes.
Each student at each school, aswell as each person at the mass crusade, was given a Book of Hope-discipleship magazine , aswell as a information brochure with the list of 56 participating churches, including my 9pm TBN program.
